Tony Woolner

TONY WOOLNER

Tony was born in Manhattan, where he attended Riverdale Country Day School and studied at Columbia University. He found his true passion for architecture at the Rhode Island School of Design, where he graduated at the top of his class.

Tony attended graduate school at Harvard and then moved to Los Angeles, where he worked for the renowned architect John Lautner. Lautner was a student of Frank Lloyd Wright and designed homes for the “Stars.”

Tony moved back to the East Coast to design and build homes in Fairfield and Westchester Counties. He designed and built his award-winning home in North Salem in 1971. And then, he continued building residential houses that were featured in major architectural magazines.
